Custom Built - High Energy Starters for your Kart!

All BBT custom built high energy starters begin with CNC Machined aircraft grade aluminum blanks. After machining, we add and industry proven high torque, gear reduction starter motor. For ease of use, a lightweight push button switch is also added to the unit. All our drive shafts feature a 1/2" drive for your desired socket. The starter unit comes ready to race with a standard 10 amp/hr battery to get you on the track.

With his sons involved in karting, Rick had the need for a reliable, self-containted starter. In 2010 he set out to build the new standard in kart starters. With numerous hours of development and testing, the first BBT Starter was born!

Our mission is to provide a reliable, custom built starter to karting and Jr. Dragster racing, while looking toward the future to continuously improve our products.
